R.I.P. DJ AM

DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) died last month of an apparent overdose of pain medication. AM just survived a plane crash last year (along with Travis Barker) and was taking the medication for the pain from that crash. This goes to show that these medications are very dangerous. Heath Ledger, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson have all died by prescription medicines.

Street Heat -- Found Nowhere!

The homie Street Heat just dropped his new mixtape FOUND NOWHERE! Street opted to use none of his own beats ( except for the title track) so that his lyrics could be truly heard and not be out shined by his production. He goes from the deepest parts of his mind, to the streets, to the club on his journey through music. The whole team is riding on this Team Arson release as well as FOUND NOWHERE! features: Jae Poet, Nova Starz, Rsun@l (Ase & Ze), Ollie V.O.S.O., Big DRO, J .Killa, DJ Craigos Gettum, Tekno Beats and myself. Also featured are Cash Smith, Dre Babes, Clay and Twinn. Street Heat shows off his singing/songwriting abilities heavily on this mixtape, as well as his rhyming to make a nice blend of the two. It does leave you wanting a bit more...guess we'll have to wait til Street drops A Beautiful Mind!

What time is it??

Pricey at between $36,400 and $39,400 dollars, but this Harry Winston Ocean Diver Chronograph Watch. The watch also contains Zalium - a special Harry Winston only metal alloy made up of aluminum and zirconium.

Though Bulgari is making some cutbacks and layoffs from Gerald Genta And Daniel Roth, this is a beautiful watch!!

Is Zorro On?? (Watch Letterman sometime to get the reference)

Cudder

Dammit, this is like when good idea's go bad. I like Scott, he seems like a cool guy. And I'll be damned if the guy doesn't have fans that support the hell outta him, but I just can't get into his music. When he is on a song with features he is easily out shined by the guest star. On songs by himself he just doesn't posses enough presence to hold my attention....and I really wanna like it. He can't sing and he is not that good at rapping either. All he raps/sings about is being depressed, sad and lonely and I can appreciate that but the execution of his songs just don't come through. "Sky Might Fall," if sung by Daughtry, NickleBack, The Fray. Keri Hilson, hell even the newly revived Whitney Houston would be a EPIC song...but when delivered by the Cudster it becomes a good idea with good production and poor execution.

Sadly, I only like 2 songs "Alive" and "Cudi Zone," which are numbers 10 & 11 . Hopefully as his career progresses so shall his music.

Well Killz likes it

Jay-Z's latest album The BluePrint 3 was leaked earlier this month, mostly the Timbaland produced tracks. But that didn't stop the selling power of this album even if some people weren't feeling the leaked tracks initially. Bottom line is the album is great!! It has a good feeling to it all the way through. The production is solid and the rhymes are superb. "So Ambitious," the Pharrell produced track has an odd hook line "I might hit two sisters" that kinda comes out of nowhere but it works. The hook on "What We Talkin Bout," sung by Luke Steele of Empire of the Sun is sometimes hard to f'ing hear what he is saying, but the song is pretty epic. For a guy that doesn't really enjoy Kid Cudi's music, my favorite song right now is "Already Home," where Cudi sings the hook. He sounds more alive and happy then his usual "I'm dying, sad and depressed tone of music." The Kanye West produced beat is sick and Jay kills it! If you saw the concert show Jay-z did on 9/11 on Fuse Tv, the chemistry was best between Jay-Z and Cudi, more so then artists he has worked with for years...Pharrell (seemed like he didn't know the words to most of the songs and seemed very awkward).

The BluePrint 3 is a classic album and Jay-Z's 11th #1 album.

THE MOSQUITO BIKE

German Designers Tom Mudra and Hans-Tobias Schicktanz designed a new way to get around within the city – the Mosquito. Words from the Designers:“Our aim was to create a lightweight and attractive E- Bike suitable for urban places. The motor is powered by lithium batteries which cost about 50p to charge. The Mosquito has got a range of about 60 km (37 miles) with a maximum Speed of 50 km/h (31 miles)”

This looks like a Super Dope Bike!

What's Wrong With You People??

This guy can't catch a break. Wanna give people health care?? Problem!! Wanna speak to the kids in school?? Problem!! Really, 1/3 of the kids aren't even in school anymore so somebody needs to talk to them. And why not the President? I am 1000% sure that if Oprah said she wanted to broadcast and talk to the kids at school there would not be any problem at all. Old people thinking that the new health care plan is aiming to kill them...guess what...you're old you're going die anyway..its really just a matter of time...new health care is not going to kill you. If you take your Tuesday pill on Thursday THAT might kill you but not a person trying to give you health care. Maybe if you are that senile you don't need health care, just embrace the sweet touch of the Reaper.

Is that you GrandMa?

Where My Dogs At?

Robin Starr is the CEO of the Richmond SPCA. She was the owner of a deaf and blind dog....was because she left Louie, a 16 year old mutt in the back seat of the car for 4 hours on a 91 degree day. Now in a normal situation I may be sympathetic, but in this instance where every time I turn around Mike Vick is apologizing and crying and begging to get back good with the people who don't really like him anyway I say FUCK the SPCA! When did it dawn on her or her husband that they didn't see the blind and deaf dog for 4 hours?? Even after an hour you should have been at least curious to where your dog was especially given the fact that it's blind and deaf. This is a simple case of neglect and had it been an Athlete, Music Star or Celebrity the SPCA would have been all over them with bad press. That's all.
