Flacco - The Chip Kid

Its all about the CHIP!  In any sporting event, that's actually all its about.  EVER!  Some people are asking if they paid too much for Flacco.  But the thing you gotta understand is they aren't really paying Flacco they are paying for the Championship.  Imagine what Jerry Jones would pay if he knew he could have a Championship in 4 years.  He would pay double what they paid Flacco.  Elite or not isn't really even the case .  It's all about the CHIP!  The Timberwolves paid KG $160M when he first came out.  The Timberwolves have no chips and barely reached the playoffs.  The money and who it goes to is relative because people are paying for that ring/trophy/cup.   I look at it as they didn't pay Flacco for Flacco they paid for the Rings.  Atlanta would love if Matt Ryan could have brought them a Championship but it's just not for them.  If the Falcons organization knew that Flacco would win this Chip in 4 years time they would have picked him over Matt Ryan.  Steve Bisciotti is a smart dude, so I'm sure he has a way to keep the pivotal players on the squad ( I hope).

SUPERBOWL CHAMPS!

It's been a long season and a long road.  For some this is where the road ends but it's been a great ride.  The Ravens dominated the 49ers up until the 35 minute power outage.  San Fransico only had 6 points both scored by David Akers (he even missed a kick).  I think that 35 minutes gave the 9er's time to SNAP OUT OF IT!  They realized that they were indeed in the Super Bowl and indeed losing.  They came back BLAZING!  Amazing throws amazing run game.  Ray Rice's fumble got the 49er's right back in the game.

Ray Lewis and Randy Moss were non-factors in this game.  Ed Reed showed up, Ed Dickson showed up?! Pitta and Boldin were key factors.  The last 2 minutes time management was EXCELLENT. Taking the safety was a brilliant move.  I don't really think Flacco should have gotten the MVP, I think it should have went to Jacoby Jones.  But Flacco has been exceptional during these Playoffs.  Now it's all about next season.  Who is staying who is going.  We shall see.

Super Bowl XLVII Ravens vs. 49ers

And here we are! The final showdown.  Ravens Vs. 49ers.  Brother vs. Brother in the Har - Bowl.  With Beyonce on the Halftime show.  I think this is going to be one of the highest rated Super Bowls ever.  I think the Ravens should win this game.  As the only real weakness I've seen is our defense against the run game. I think the emotions on the Ravens are so high that everyone will be playing at their absolute best so the run game may not be a factor.  The kinda messed up thing is Jim Harbaugh looks like a GENIUS for benching Alex Smith.  I still think that it was still a distasteful move but look where it got them.  Everything has to be perfect for this final win.

HERE IT IS!!

Last weeks game BAL v. DEN was the greatest game I have ever seen IN MY LIFE.

SF v. ATL  winner --- SF -- If Colin Kaepernick has the same type of game like he had last week, The Falcons are in trouble!  -- Plus never had faith in the Falcons.  But even with that being said Atlanta is due they have been knocking at the door for 5 years.

Postseason 2013 pt.2

BAL v. DEN --- winner --- BAL  --- the only problem is our corners -- Payton knows it --- everyone knows it --- if we can get to Payton and control the corners BAL should win.  I'm not really worried about their run game.
GB v. SF  --- winner ---  GB -- I hope that SF wins really BUT I think and hope that Harbaugh benching Alex Smith bites him in the ass.
SEA v. ATL --- winner ---  SEA  --- as weird as it seems nothing really impresses me about ATL --- they are either going to win the Superbowl or lose this game.
HOU v. NE   --- winner --- NE --- the Hoody has been waiting .

NFL Postseason

Going 139W / 82L isn't that bad, I'll shoot higher next year.

This postseason has some interesting first games.

CIN v. HOU   --- winner ---  HOU --- Cincy has a lot of fight in them though so it should be a solid game.
MIN v. GB   --- winner ---   GB  --- I just don't think MIN has it in them. And Rodgers is still mad.

I went 10 and 5 last week bring me to 109W - 65L for the season.  Ravens lose again to a lesser team.  New England destroys The Texans and The Seahawks simply dismantled the Cardinals.

99W - 60L Flacco lost the game last week against the Steelers.  The game was basically won and he found away to get that "L."  Maybe it was a bad week for the Harbaugh boys, because the Rams came back to beat the 49ers in what looked like another tie game was going to happen.

Last week I went 100% on my picks!! Pretty crazy! Lets see what week 11 has for us.  Sidenote -- the Pats are still a force! And the Jets still stink.  As bad as they say Tebow is atleast play him a game to see, they really can't lose any worse. I still don't get the HOU v. DET game and the non - call by the refs.  Dude was down since and the refs didnt blow the whistle, the guy goes in a scores a TD?  And you can't challenge that because??  Even under the rule that all touchdowns are reviewed, that should have came back.

NFL Week 3 2012/13

I ended up going 9 (W) -7 (L) last week.   Weird week for the start of a rocky, odd and interesting season.  The biggest problem this season seems to be the interim refs.  They are very confused and unorganized, and that is making for a lot of wrong calls and LONGER games!  It feels like 2 outta 4 plays are being reviewed now.  Roger Goodell needs to put an end to this immediately.  PAY THOSE REFS!

NE v. BAL --- WINNER --- oh boy!  both teams coming off a loss, Baltimore at home and the refs don't know a damn thing.  BAL
GB v. SEA --- WINNER --- SEA --- the Seahawks can only win at home against anybody of this I am convinced!
