NBA Dunk Contest

NBA All - Star weekend is wayyyyyy wayyyyyy better than the NFL Pro Bowl, but the Slam Dunk contest is getting weaker and weaker by the year.  I haven't seen a good since Blake Griffen jumped over a car and that was about 3 years ago.  At this point dudes are just running out of tricks.  I'd much rather see a Streetball/Playground type of game.  Like a Rucker League Game or an AND1 game instead of the Dunk Contest.  It's boring its pointless and its a waste of time.  The big dogs like LeBron and Blake don't return to it.  It's like it's a one a done type of a deal.  BOOOOOOOOOOO!  If this was show it would have been cancelled a long time ago.  Spice it up or just get rid of it.

During this years NCAA Tournament the Baylor Bears had thee most stand out uniforms. I am a socks freak! I copped highlighter yellow pair and they are very comfortable. Get em here.



Screen Printing your own shirts

After watching a youtube video last week, I've decided that screen printing (one color) isn't that difficult. The most expensive thing seems to be the lightbox you would need to expose the emulsion on the screen, the cheapest I've seen is $300. Seems interesting!

2011 NBA Champs Dallas Mavericks

They are the Champions of the World! Congrats to Dirk, Terry, Marion and Kidd! When the finals started I didn't care which team won as long as it was a good series and wasn't a sweep. It was almost a sweep in the other direction. The Miami Heat still have to feel themselves out as a Team. Which pieces make sense and which don't. They made it very far for there first year together. LeBron didn't have the eye of the tiger at all. Wade was the only one that had that spark early on but even his seem to fade. It just came down to good Basketball.

While all the announcers and "fans" were hugging the nuts of LeBron the Mavericks came out and played great. Even when the Heat lost Magic Johnson was still on the nutsack of LeBron and the Heat and it was simply unbelievable. Scottie Pippen even got out of pocket and said that LeBron was better than Mike. Jordon son!!! You gotta be kidding Scott! What is LeBron selling to these guys. He is a good player, a phenomenal player but he is not a leader. He does not yet posses the leadership qualities of a Jordan or Kobe. I think he is a good second man like Shaq. He has more talents than Shaq but he doesn't play as aggressively.

LeBron might be one of those guys that win down the line in there mid to late 30's like Garnett, Dirk and Kidd. Or like Baron Davis, Steve Nash, Allen Iverson he may never see that trophy.

How come the old guys always wanna piss on the young guys parade? Shouldn't the older generation want to see the younger generation prosper and unite? Michael Jordan is the guy who put "I" in team. But without key guys, that made key clutch plays Michael Jordan would be just another guy that had talent that never quite made it. LeBron realized that he needed more and made the best decision for himself to win a Championship. Get over it. Just like Jordan had Rodman, Pippen and Kukoc it takes a team. And if you are able to call the shots and go to a team that has the talent you think you need to win, then I wish you all the best. I expected Barkley to say something ignorant that's pretty much par for his course but Jordan's whole demeanor is off putting. Even in the Hanes ads he is pretty much a jerk.

Team Arson Basketball League

Me and the homies played ball Saturday at Cloverdale. The team of Street (aka needs to stop smoking), Drag (deceptive jump shot) and Shani (arc queen) won the 1st game and O (aka Big Shaq), Poet (aka FITCH) & Young Damn J (20 cent snowflake) won the second game. Im sore..i think we all are. It was a good outting. Big Dro was on the side lines getting his Phil Jackson on.
