Another friend of mine is featured in the City Paper's Best Of Baltimore Issue. Pat...A.k.a "Action Pat." He is a DJ and he spins oldies rare records. The harder to find the better, the more obscure the better...and thats why he's one of the best.

K-Swift 1978-2008

The Baltimore Music scene, family and friends have suffered a great loss this week. Club Queen DJ K-Swift died early Monday morning, July 21st of a swimming accident. When I received the news like others I was in disbelief. I was hoping that it was a bad rumor, that the facts were wrong, and it was a mix up, but sadly it became more and more apparent that the news was true. K-Swift was a pioneer and a role model. She was a door opener and a business woman. She gave upcoming DJ's a great picture of a homegrown, successful DJ. She was a talented DJ world wide and now she is a legend.
