Friday night we went to Talara. It was very crowded and loud as heck. The speakers were blaring Latin Music...which was cool, but it was to the point where you couldn't hear the person next to you. The menu seemed to change when we arrived there...but maybe it didn't. The food selection is slim, but there are some good choices on the menu (also some not so good ones). The drinks list far outweighs the food. A couple of the waitresses are hot. A few drunk girls! Lamb chops....great!!!

Man this movie was good. Action from beginning to end. A super weird cameo from Tyler Perry??? Hot green chicks and it was directed by J.J. Abrams! The story line was a bit confusing if you really think about it but it all happens so fast that your just enjoying the ride. The comic relief of Bones and Scotty are all perfectly timed and the action sequences are stunning. The cast was great as well. Dude from Heroes.... Dude from Shaun of the Dead .... the beautiful Ms. Zoe Saldana as Uhuru. It was fun. I hope more movies are like this one this Summer.

Knowing starring Nicolas Cage started off pretty good. Scientist single father raising a semi-deaf kid (how can you not like a semi-deaf kid come on). Goes to his son's school to celebrate the unearthing of a 50 year old time capsule of what kids from the same school thought the future would be like. It so happens that Nick Cage's son pick out the weird one. This girl in the 50's wrote a bunch of numbers on the front and back of the paper. Cage deciphers the sequences of the numbers and realizes that disasters happen on these dates. Some aliens show up....take all the children....Earth is destroyed and some kinda weird child porn thing happens on another planet. If you've seen it....think about it. Toward the end of the movie it got very lame and cliche dumb. 2 1/2 stars.

WTF??? Did the City of Baltimore just buy the dying Senator Theater? The Senator has been in financial turmoil forever... obviously people aren't going to this theater so why has the City picked up the mortgage? If Muvico at Arundel Mills is in trouble how do they think they can turn the Senator around? I think in my life my father took us to the Senator once...that was enough. Let it go!
