Tom Cruise is the man. That being said this film plays out just like an episode of the now defunct show Under Covers that came on NBC for about 12 episodes. And oddly enough both are/were produced by JJ Abrams. The action was fast paced and good chase scenes. A few corny parts. Nice gadgets. But even after all of that it still seemed like the movie was missing something. Something that I still can't quite put my finger on. Maybe it was the whole "Russian Launch Codes" thing. I don't know. I'm just glad that the twist that I thought was going to happen didn't. Ving Rhames shows up at the end for nostalgic reasons I guess.

MI4 is such a refreshing movie with new dimensions in stunts.. be it burj kalifa scenes, sandstorm chase, satellite entry by jeremy, multilevel parking, car bombed with imf ppl inside etc etc.. outstanding work and the director managed to keep the stunts scenes pouring in at regular intervals so there is no boredom strike during the entire 2.15 hr period.. this may not be the best, but certainly a movie of this year.. im sure indian soap lovers will find this movie an average performer
I agree. The action was great. The building climbing was excellent. It was def a great action movie. There weren't any slow moments at all.
